Terms of service
Last updated: September 17, 2026
1. Agreement and service
These terms govern access to Long Haul, a customer-retention platform that receives customer, product-usage, and billing signals; evaluates retention risk; and helps teams coordinate follow-up actions. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms for yourself and the organization you represent.
2. Accounts and authorized use
You must provide accurate account information, protect login credentials and API keys, and promptly remove access for people who no longer need it. You may use Long Haul only for lawful business purposes and only for organizations and data you are authorized to manage.
3. Your end-user data and consent
You are responsible for having a valid legal basis and all required notices, permissions, and consents to send Long Haul data about your customers and end users. You are also responsible for the content, recipients, and consent behind every email, text message, task, call script, webhook, or other follow-up sent or initiated on your behalf. Do not upload sensitive data that the service does not require.
4. Acceptable use
You may not use Long Haul to violate law, send spam or unlawful marketing, harass people, impersonate others, distribute malware, probe or disrupt the service, bypass access controls, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, or access another tenant’s data. You may not use automated outputs as the sole basis for decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on a person.
5. Automated recommendations
Risk scores, suggested rules, generated messages, and AI-assisted content are decision-support tools, not guarantees. You are responsible for reviewing recommendations and messages before relying on them, especially where a follow-up may affect a customer relationship.
6. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Long Haul available and reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, provider failures, internet conditions, and events outside our reasonable control may interrupt service. We may change features to improve security, reliability, or functionality and will use reasonable efforts to avoid materially reducing the core service.
7. Fees, cancellation, and suspension
Paid plans are billed according to the order or plan selected. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise. You may cancel before the next renewal to stop future recurring charges; access continues through the paid period unless stated otherwise. We may suspend access for nonpayment, security risk, unlawful use, or a material breach, and will provide notice when reasonably possible.
8. Ownership and feedback
You retain ownership of data you provide. Long Haul and its licensors retain ownership of the service, software, documentation, and branding. You grant us the limited rights needed to process your data and operate the service. If you provide feedback, we may use it without restriction or payment.
9. Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Long Haul and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Our total liability arising from the service will not exceed the fees you paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. State and federal courts located in Arizona will have exclusive jurisdiction, and each party consents to that venue.
